Welcome to my blog. I grew up just west of Port Arthur (now part of Thunder Bay) but now live in a rural area outside of Kitchener-Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, with my wife and three daughters.

I was diagnosed with cancer in 2014 and, while it looked as if I had

"beaten" it, it returned in an inoperable form in 2016, and so I am

now in the treatment stage called "palliative chemotherapy".

Following my initial diagnosis, I began to record my thoughts,

impressions and experiences of living with cancer, and I’ve decided

to share them with anyone who may be interested. Blog entries will

be in chronological order of the events. I hope to add to this

blog weekly, at least for as long as I can.
